It's the tomb cleaning season.
Went for tomb cleaning for my grandfather(father side).
Had to wait for quite awhile for everyone to reach.
Uncles asked me about my attachment and stuffs, and they said SPH is a great place, and they stopped there.
After that, they asked me about the China trip, and told me not to be shy to get stuffs from them. They taught me some "survival skills" when I'm over at China.
And also, they told me to claim the air points from them instead of trying to earn my own airfare.
After the tomb cleaning session, we split the food to bring home and headed home seperately.
They are all busy people, even on Sundays.
Fourth uncle drove us home in his rover, it's kinda cool.
We had breakfast at coffee shop. This kind of breakfast, we can have it on any other days.
Mum: why aren't you getting married?
Uncle: I show you my girlfriend photo. Only let you see ar.
Mum: oh, she's so pretty! Why never bring home let mother see?
Uncle: I think she would faint if I were to bring my girlfriend home.
Went over to Malaysia for tomb cleaning session for grandpa(mother side).
Everyone reached at almost the same timing. (good communication skill)
Took my cousin's car. I only love to take his car, as he's driving is thrilling yet safe.
All my relatives mentioned about the "My Paper", and that was when I realized that even people at Malaysia also reads it. ARGH.
Like what my uncles did earlier, they all asked me about my attachment, they praised the company.
But they asked me: But is this what you really want to do in future?
I'm glad they asked.
And the uncles from my mother side supported me when I told them I want to earn my own airfare. They really know me so well.
After the tomb cleaning session, more than 20 of us crowd together at a corner and ate the food we brought over to worship grandpa. That sense of coziness and family bonding is what a family should really have.
My relatives all took leave for today, and we had some time to do some catching up.
When I asked my cousin to pass me an egg, he gave me an egg plus a drumstick.
When I asked just threw a casual remark: "It's so hot here!", she passed me a bottle of sugarcane juice.
Although custom jammed like shit and I almost rot in the car, I really don't mind as long as I get to see my relatives.
Notice the difference?
Perhaps is it the society in Singapore which brings my uncles to only realize my materialistic needs.
But that's not really useful, at least for me. =)

ANYWAY! Got to go back to work tomorrow! A new week!

We are Area 19
Went down to see the GOH training for awhile and solehan drove us to Dunearn for area meeting. As usual, we took up the logistics role for sec3 campsite.
After meeting, we lunched together at Alif. Nice nice pratas~ whee!!!
And as usual, we crapped all the way.
I think this is the 1st time Fajar actually joined the other units for lunch after area meeting, instead of walking off straight. Haha, no hard feeling eh. We're still the loving area19 warriors! =)
ANYWAY! I didn't know so many people around me reads My Paper. *faint*
AND TODAY, ASKA IS PERFORMING AT ZOUK AND I CAN'T MAKE IT!!! *rolls around the floor*
okok, you know, my chocolates are waiting for me!!!!!!! hohoho~

OMG!!!!
ZHEN LING JIE IS BRINGING ME TO YANG ZONG WEI'S PRESS CONFERENCE TOMORROW!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! AHHHHHHHHH~
But Kuang Ning jie told me there's this food tasting event, which clashes with Aska's Press conference. So I had to give up the nice nice food. Luckily there are plenty of food tasting events, but there's only one Aska. =)
WISH ME GOOD LUCK!!! =)

SPH
Just came back from lunch with netty, xw, soonyang, huiwen and all. Feels so nice to be able to see familiar faces at canteen.
2nd day of attachment today.
The seniors had been drilling me on my translation. They are all very nice and warm people, and I'm very grateful for that.
I WILL TRY TO OPEN MY EYES. I WON'T DOOZE OFF. I WILL STOP SNACKING DURING WORK. I WILL TRY!
I really hope my performance will be up to their standard, and I won't disappoint them.
Anyway! Will be off to interview Darren Tan in half an hour's time! Wohoo~

Wish me good luck! =)

OH OH OH! I'm back to update! yar yar, about the interview with Daren Tan. wehehe.
I thought the interview session would be other medias will be present as well. But it turned out that, he came just specially for My Paper! wohoo~
Shi hui jie and the photographer brought me to the the Scape, and that's where we interviewed Daren. He performed a few stunts for us, how cool! Although I didn't watch the 2nd Superstar, I think he deserves your support lar. He's very hardworking I can say. After today, I've changed my opinion about Daren. It's so fun to interview him, although he speaks kinda soft and the Scape was full of skate bording sounds and we had to sit really close to catch what he says.
And after that, shi hui jie sort of psycho me not to go back to office since I've nothing to do if I go back. But end up I still went back to the office leaving her at Scape lar. Once I returned to my desk, I saw an email being forwarded to all My Paper staffs. It's all about welcoming me to join them as an intern. My admin sent it, and I'm really touched! The bosses started coming to my desk and talk to me awhile, the seniors came and visit me once in awhile too. =)
Oh yar. instead of going back to office to finish up the tasks other seniors assigned me to do, I actually started writing the article for Daren. HAHAHA! And I was too engrossed in writing it, until my admin told me its 7.30pm already. My oh my. I wish everyday is so fun and stressless. =)

Party Party!
Just came back from Shu Juan's 21st Birthday Party.
We're really good at self-entertaining. hahaha. And needless to say, all of us stuffed ourselves with lots of food too. Up to this point of time, I'm still bloated like shit.
But I must really say the food all taste very nice lar. We had so much cheesecakes and brownies. Hohoho. (:
And, honey! I WANT TO GO FOR OPEN HOUSE! *wink wink*
Anyway, I'm feeling damn insecure and nervous right now.
Attachment starting tomorrow. I'm the only person in My Paper.
Imagine, you don't know anyone there. You have to depend on yourself. You have to force yourself to step further more out of your comfort zone.
*hit my chest*
I CAN DO IT! LIWEN, JIA YOU!!! =)
Wish me good luck.

Be proud of me!
If you are one of those who always mock at me for having no boyfriend to date me out(stares hard at joycelyn oh yee lu. HAHA!), I think you should think again.
Last week (I think), dear dc had serious craving for popeyes. So we travelled all the way from Bukit Panjang to Changi Airport for Popeyes. A 4 hours ride, for a half an hour bite.
Yesterday, I introduced the CIs to Ya Kun.
Today, honey said she missed me too much and craved for Ya Kun during her FTT. HAHAHA! So, I had to satisfy her cravings just now.
Now now, tell me. Where can you find such a good person like me, who is willing to travel any distance, just to satisfy your cravings?!
*gives myself a pat on the shoulder*
LOL!

Hello, Hello! Are you okay?
Hello, hello! Are you okay?
I'm a first aider, I can help you.
You can trust me!
First aid course was fun! With great companion of young-at-heart classmates and interesting instructor! With people like them around, I don't feel the course bored at all. =)
I'm so addicted in doing CPR and rescue breathing already. The dummies all smell of our fried kway tiao after CPR. And my casualty (ms tong sian choo), had to tolerate my rough and ungentle bandaging. I always got too engross in carrying out the steps to bandage, and forgot to handle the casualty with care. So everytime I'm doing bandaging, I'd hear people behind me going "Ai~yo, ai~yo! It hurts! I'm a casualty!". (And that person who says aiyo aiyo was my instructor.) HAHAH.
The class was made up of a bunch of jokers. Laughters everywhere, even during our practical test. They'd all come and disturb you during your case study, and make you laugh like shit until you hyperventilate. LOL
But they're completely a different person when they chat with you about their job. I'm so lucky to know them, as they really provide me with lots of advices. They are people whom I will really look up to.
Took quite a no. of pictures and videos during the course. We all burst out laughing everytime we watch them. Instructor says, keep talking to the patient in coma. They can hear you. So, if I were to get into coma (CHOI! touch wood!), just play the video of mhd and sue for me. I confirm wake up!
Shall upload them after sian choo and the other coursemate sent to me.

"Ai~yo! ai~yo!"

Unit.
Yesterday nearing the end of training, I pumped the sec2s.
Halfway through, the HO suddenly came down to the unit.
I immediately knew that I'm gonna get screwed upside down inside out for punishing cadets.
Then after training, during lunch, we were discussing about the unit. I tried very hard to avoid the "punishment" and "discipline" related stuffs.
HO: but, all of you feedback to me in the paper that the unit is not as disciplined already.
*point and at me*
HO: and just now, I saw you punishing the cadets.
Me: yar *damn.. die already*
HO: and I think that it's good. I don't know what our new boss is thinking. He wants discipline, but he don't allow punishment. So, I think what you did was right. They have to be punished in order to learn, since talking sense to them is useless.
I really almost fainted when he pointed his finger right at me. Lucky lucky! (:
Anyway, had some gathering with the fajar CIs in the evening.
Laughters everywhere in the mac. And the guys taught us some magic tricks!
Guowei came down after most of them left. Discussed about the GOH.
And that was when I really start to miss the old NPCC days.
With monsters instructors like mr.Guowei, janice, shujuan and kaili.
Suddenly I'm so grateful towards Ms Phang for giving me a chance to become a W/CI.
If not, I would've miss out all the things I've went through with all fellow CIs.
*wipes my tears*

And on that very faithful night, 3 unknown suspicious characters were found loitering around the whole Bukit Panjang at 11.45pm. Please lookout for them.

SGT Promotion
After so many donkey years, I finally wore my Full-U today! =)
For Sergeant Promotion Test.
I guess this shall be the last time I'm wearing Full-U. How sad!
And I'm quite happy that I can still fit into my Full-U, despite eating 3 elephants per day. whee~
Anyway, the HO miscommunication was quite irritating. Thanks to our boss.
You know that you're in the wrong, jolly well admit it. Don't try to cover up your own smelly backside.
You dare to say CIs and TOs can make decision together. Thanks. But why must you add "but who hold the last say? Who sign the form? Who approve?" at the back of the sentence?
You're going one round to tell us that whatever decisions CIs make are fucking for fun lar. Thanks.
You always have the balls to use harsh words on us via msn and sms.
But your balls seems to be eatened by the crows whenever we talk to you face to face.
If you dare to scold us, please don't try to say you are not scolding us. What an Asshole.
The whole unit is turning upside down since the very day you took over.
And yet you still have the fucking cheek to tell us its normal to change to system. Yar right. Seeing everyone unhappy with your working style you still wanna maintain your ego and carry on with the stupid system?
It's always easier for you to adapt to the 8 CIs and 4 Teacher officers way of working style, rather than the 12 of us adapting to your fucking-no-logic-system.
Come on lar. This is not the time for you to show off your high rank, whereby us as CIs MUST obey you, even though we all know very well that what you want totally makes no sense at all!
If you want us to respect you, please act in such a way that you deserve our respect!
For the past 7 years, from cadets to an inspector. You'd never understand how bad we feel, seeing the unit being ruined in the hands on an idiot, who has no NPCC background at all!
KNN CCB.
I'm really sorry for the vulgarities. I'm just too fed up.

My room.
I love my room!
I spent my whole day hiding inside my room.
This is the place for me to relax totally.
It's been such a long time since I last had my all 3 meals inside my room.
Mummy just told me that it doesn't feel as if I'm at home at all.
I've been watching videos and munching on my snacks.
That's total luxury!
In between, I gave my laptop a break.
I practiced my guitar.
I practiced my keyboard.
I read some books while listening to 93.3.
I looked out of my window and saw the folks strolling and farming.
I could smell the fresh air from the park.
The busy working people finally knocked off and are enjoying the embrace of mother nature.
I love the view right outside my window.
It's some hard-to-come-by quiet moment for myself.
The feeling is great. =)

Mas Selamat Kastari
He's the hot topic among every one now.
It's kinda shocking to hear that he actually managed to escape.
I bet he must be thinking: Whoa, am I really out?.
Pictures of him can be found everywhere in Singapore. But did anyone really take a close look at it?
MMS has been sent out to mobile phone users, and from what I see, they started joking about the picture.
Just why don't they sense the danger?
Because they think that its the police job, and doesn't concern them.
Because being a typical Singaporean, what they're waiting for is "reward".
At this point of time, money or security?
I seriously think that it's not anything to do about the amount of reward you recieve.
It's all about your own integrity and responsibility to help to spot MSK.
Saw this from the Sunday Newpaper.
"Some have joked that the odds of catching him will go up tenfold if a big reward is offered for his capture. But do we need a jackpot before we start caring about our own country?".
I totally agree with it.
My dears, let's forget about reward and advantages you'd gain. It's time to play your part to repay our country for having such a safe and secure homeland.

Breeze.
I love the breeze. It calms me down, it blows my troubles away.
Sometimes, it makes me feel so cold.
Many times, it makes me feel at ease and comfortable.
The breeze, it comes and go as and when it likes.
You can feel it, but can never reach out for it.
When the breeze blows away, you can't ask for more..
The breeze, it reminds me of you.
Sometimes, it makes me feel so cold.
Many times, it makes me feel at ease and comfortable.

Passion. Gone.
As I was trying to fit my contact lens into my eyes, I felt my eyes burning hot.
The next thing I know was that, I can't open my right eye.
Must be fate lar.
But I still went down for training in the end.
It's not about teaching cadets anymore.
It's not about discipline anymore.
It's not about teamwork among cadets anymore.
It's not the trust we once had with our superior anymore.
The only thing that kept me going and moving was the companion of the CIs.
The lame jokes and stupid stunts we'd always do at plaza mac after training.
If she hasn't left, if you were not here.
I'm sure, I'd still give my heart and soul to Fajar NPCC.
But all I can say is that, I don't have any sense of belonging with you around now.
We want a leader who leads us, and not a boss who commands us around.
If you yourself is being so pampered, how far do you expect your own cadets to be able to step out of their comfort zone?
Think again.

My days
Just here to update about the past events going on in my life.

-----------------------------------

---------------------------------

I'm grateful I always have them by my side! And I hope I can be by their side too, when they needed a cushion to lean on. =)
Crystal Jade with mummy on wed. She ordered so much food, claiming that she can finish all. End up, everything goes into my stomach. *burp*
I love the quality time. =)

Went to jolyn's house to slack and at the same time making something for my strawberries.
No place beats Jolyn house when it comes to chilling out.

---------------------------------
Had sushi buffet with the girls ytd before heading to airport. I regret having some breakfast at home. So that I can have a few more plates of baby octopus!

When I started feeling unstable about my CHS friends are flying off in an hour time, I looked behind me and they were the ones standing by my side.
I know the waiting time at the airport was super long. I know they may be cursing me inside their heart about me wasting their time. But they didn't complain. They waited patiently for me.
